BMW X5 Dealer Houston Texas TX
Reader’s Question:
My wife told me about the BMW X5. Frankly, I think she’s head-over-heels in love with the car. As for me, I’d love to go look beyond the BMW emblem. What will make it worth my while to drive this car in Texas?
Mark

The reason why I love this SUV, Mark, is because it gives the feel of a car and yet feel the power of an SUV. That, for me, counts the most on the road. Now, BMW married these factors into their SUV, the X5. We can always look forward to an interesting ride whenever we get in one of these. Shall we go beyond the emblem?
I remember one of my friends when he first drove his X5 back in 2007. All he could say was how excellent that car responded to what he did to it. After speeding off, pedal to the metal, acceleration was great, and he was also well-impressed by how it handled on varying road conditions. I dug deeper by asking my friend and found out his car was an X5 4.8i. This model had a 350 horsepower 4.8 liter V8, which translated to the excellent power he kept bragging about. An intelligent All-Wheel Drive system is also present in the X5. This feature enables the car to handle changing road conditions. Another thing I appreciated about the 2007 X5 is that it has an option to seat from 5 to 7 people, and this reminds you that the thing is still an SUV. These make it worth my while to drive this car around Texas.
BMW Z4 Roadster Dealer in Houston Texas
Reader’s Question:
I saw a BMW convertible parked outside my building the other day and it looked like the one I saw in a James Bond film. I’m wondering what model it is. Would it be a good choice to be my first BMW to drive in Texas?

Hello there, Wesley. Just a bit of info, the model that was on the Bond movie was a Z3 Roadster. It looked mighty fine in the movie, right? But right now, BMW has a newer model out. It is called the Z4 Roadster and it still carries the same amount of “oomph” and appeal that the Z3 had when it first came out. I’m certain that the Z4 will make heads turn when you drive it here in Texas.
Now, let’s talk more about the Z4 Roadster. You might be surprised that there is more than one kind of Z. There’s the Z4 Roadster 3.0i, the Z4 Roadster 3.0si and the Z4 M. Was that a lot of Zs? How do these three differ? The 3.0i and 3.0si, although both are powered by a 3.0 liter inline 6, differs mainly in horsepower output. The 3.0i revs up to 215 hp while the 3.0si gets it up to 255, a comfortable margin. The Z4 M is the modified Z4 with its 3.2 liter engine and modifications to its drivetrain and suspension. I also found the 28 mile per gallon rating (highway) also an interesting factoid about the Z4 3.0i and 3.0si. Overall, I think the Z4 ride, regardless of the trim, can be characterized by great stability and superior handling. BMW’s got this covered with Electronic Speed Sensitive Steering along with its proven suspension system. If you get tired of just being seen in one and actually take it for a real spin, I am sure you will get a really satisfying experience.
