Reader’s Question:

Driving a BMW in the busy streets of Houston, Texas is no joke especially during the summer. What are the exhaust parts compatible with BMW?

Kelly

Houston, TX

Probably the most common exhaust makes are the Eberspaecher (OEM), Borla, Ansa exhausts, Bosal exhausts and Rogue. You may also find flange nuts, brackets, mounts and hanger brackets if you check your Houston BMW parts and car dealership. You should regularly replace the exhaust system gaskets every time you replace or repair the exhaust system or the BMW muffler.

BMW exhaust have high level performance free flow design that depreciates back pressure to provide a considerable increase in horsepower. A deeper exhaust note which is distinctly different is added to this boosted power. The exception lies on how the mufflers are manufactured and catalytic converters as high flowing as possible while still enabling them to perform; specifically, reducing noise and also cleaning up the exhaust gas, respectively. The OE BMW exhaust really can do a good job too. However, if you don’t mind a superficially much aggressive exhaust note, you can consider having an upgrade on your OEM exhaust with an aftermarket sport exhaust. You can produce more power, the engine will rev faster, and you’ll get the aggressive note of a low restriction exhaust system.
